Chess meets tower defense.
Deploy rooks, bishops and knights that auto-attack by real chess movement. Earn points, level them up, fire their specials, and hold the line against waves marching on your King.
The roster
Six pieces, each a distinct tower with its own reach, five-level XP curve and a chargeable special ability. Position is everything: a rook rakes a whole file, a bishop heals the line, a queen owns the board.
Cheap front line. Fires up its two forward diagonals and charges its special fastest. Freeze locks nearby enemies in place.
Strikes the eight L-jump squares, ignoring anything in between. Stomp damages and slows every enemy it can reach.
Support healer. Tops up nearby pieces and the King over time. Heal bursts the whole line back to full.
Long straight lines down ranks and files, high single-target damage. Barrage pierces every line at once.
Lines and diagonals both, the strongest all-round attacker. Nuke hits every enemy on the board.
Your base, and it fights its eight neighbours too. Aegis shields it from harm. Lose the King and it's over.
The horde
Four enemy archetypes, each with its own armour, speed and pathing. Some swarm, some detour around your line, some smash straight through it. Read the wave, then build to counter it.
Balanced speed, no armour, light melee. Goes around your pieces when it can. The baseline threat.
Heavy armour shrugs off small hits and pushes straight through your pieces. Bring rooks and the queen.
Quick and weak, almost always detouring around your wall. Walls won't stop it, so cover the flanks.
Double health, hits hardest in melee, smashes straight through. Kill it at range before it reaches the King.
Wave boss · Demi-boss
Deep into a run, a towering demi-boss arrives: six times the health, heavy armour, and a signature ability that rewrites the fight. Survive long enough and several stack at once.
How it plays
It's both your base and the enemy's target. Move it any time to reshape the battlefield.
Spend deployment points on chess pieces. Each auto-attacks along its real movement lines.
Earn points, level pieces mid-fight, and unleash specials as enemies close on the King.
